PrimeCuts MonthlyPrimeCuts has been delivering the hits on a weekly basis for more than 6 years. Now PrimeCuts is available as a monthly service with one CD a month that contains top hits from 5 music formats; Top 40/CHR, Urban, Rock, Country and Dance. Subscriptions to PrimeCuts Monthly are $150 a year (there is no discount for paying yearly) and includes free access to PrimeCuts+. Here are some
answers to the most common questions about PrimeCuts Monthly: Q. How is PrimeCuts Monthly programmed?
A. It
includes top songs from CHR, Urban, Rock, Country & Dance. Since it is
still relatively new we aren’t sure how far down the charts we’ll be going for
each format but we anticipate the top 4-6 from each format will be covered. CHR,
Urban, Rock & Country will be programmed based on data from Mediabase
radio airplay charts. Since there isn’t a Mediabase Dance chart those
songs will be programmed based on Billboard Dance charts and other
Dance charts. Q. Where can I find release dates, data files and past inserts?
A.
All of that
information is in the following chart:
A. PrimeCuts was designed for DJs who need all the hits as fast as possible. For instance, DJs who provide their services to schools, colleges, clubs and other younger crowds usually prefer our PrimeCuts service. PrimeCuts Monthly is geared towards DJs who focus on weddings & other events where adults are the main group in attendance. We do have many wedding-only DJs who subscribe to our PrimeCuts service--so it really depends on your individual needs.
PrimeCuts ships
every week (52 issues a year) whereas PrimeCuts Monthly ships once a
month (12 issues a year). As a result, we
anticipate songs will reach our PrimeCuts Monthly subscribers about 4-6 weeks after
our weekly clients have them. Also, there are no guarantees to what
we’re servicing (like there is with PrimeCuts where we guarantee every
song in the top 30 from AC, CHR, Urban, Rock & Country). While we will
service the top tracks, if in a certain month we only give you the top
5 Urban songs and you get a request for a song that is 15 or 20 on the
chart you won’t have it (whereas you would’ve with PC). If you are ok
with all of that and are ok with possibly having to buy songs from
other sources then PrimeCuts Monthly might be for you. Q. When will PrimeCuts Monthly be shipped? A. PrimeCuts Monthly will ship by the 7th
of every month. Q. How many songs will be on PrimeCuts Monthly? A. It will vary from month-to-month but
basically we'll put as much as we can fit (about 18 to 20 songs). Q. Are there any discounts?
A. Due to
the very low cost of the subscription we are not offering any
discounts at this time. Q. Will PrimeCuts Monthly CDs be burned like your other services?
A. Yes. We can make it much timelier with burning them in-house since
we can continue to add songs up until the day before we send to
mastering/production. This allows us to give you the absolute latest
top songs at shipping time from each format.
We have been
burning our CDs for over 9 years. Over that time we have shipped
millions of burned CDs and we feel confident with the quality of the
CDs we use. Q. How do I pay?
A. If you
are only getting PC Monthly we require payment up-front for the entire
year. If you are getting it
with any of our other PrimeCuts series, HitDisc or VidDisc you can pay
monthly or yearly. Q. Is anything else included?
