Chris Stevens
Chris' career started at an early age in community and student radio in the North of England. This led to his biggest achievement yet - being Sun FM's "Sunny Bunny" at roadshows and publicity events.

The many hours spent inside that very hot rabbit outfit paid off, as Chris was given the daily evening shift. This left him with empty days to play around with production and set up his own freelance company Devaweb.

After a couple of years of playing the hits and talking in between, Chris moved to the GMG Radio, a large UK radio group who were in need of some imaging assistance. Putting his career (and salary) on the line, Chris changed the sound of the station, and as the group grew, so did Chris's role. He relaunched the station sound of Jazz FM when GMG acquired the stations, and oversaw the imaging of new network Smooth FM. Alongside this, Chris was still doing airshifts and continuing his freelance work.

After the adverts and clients became too much for his sanity, Chris left commercial radio to join Radio 2 in London, the BBC's national station with over 13 million listeners a week. Working in the station sound team, Chris worked on the overall station sound and trails. His proudest moment was managing to force his infamous "horse" joke into a trail. If you ask him... he'll tell you.

Then, a couple of drunken emails alerted JonesTM to Chris, and the rest might well become history. Chris crossed the Atlantic to become JonesTM's first Creative Director in over 10 years, where he is spear-heading the funkier side of TM's products.

Away from radio, Chris enjoys dreaming of travelling in his 1973 VW camper van "Daisy", and is a fond lover of cheese, cider and cats. His quest to find the perfect Mrs Chris means many hours invested in local bars and coffee shops.

His preferred cup of tea is Earl Grey, strong, with milk but no sugar.
